Summary:

I was born in 1982 in Ankara, the capital city of Turkish republic. I grew up and lived in Ankara until 2003. After I received my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi (METU), I left Ankara for graduate studies.

I have spent more than four years in a small college town called State College (also known as University Park) in the state of Pennsylvania in USA. I have finished my graduate studies in the field of engineering (more specifically in polymeric materials) at The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) and after that I thought I needed some fresh air.

Currently, I work for the chemical company BASF in Ludwigshafen and I live with my girlfriend Vjerana in a historic and picturesque town named Heidelberg in the Baden-Wuerttemberg State of Germany.
